Violin and Piano
Born and raised in Merida, Venezuela and part of the Merida State Symphony Orchestra for over 10 years
Grecia started music at 8 years old, guided by one of the main instructors of the Orchestra System in Venezuela, Ofelia Montalban, who was also her piano mentor. Simultaneously, Grecia took violin lessons with instructors Zanie Brown and Iraida Mora.
Attended to the Conservatory of Music Simon Bolivar in Caracas, Venezuela where she completed her violin studies and was honored to be taught by “maestro” Sergio Celis. Years later, she became violin, piano and musical language instructor at the Simon Bolivar’s Musical Foundation.
Grecia has been Concertmaster (the leading first-violin player in the orchestra) of the “Orquesta Regional de la Juventud” in Venezuela and
she currently plays with the Miami Symphony Orchestra conducted by “maestro” Eduardo Marturet.
